Peter Mc Nally R.I.P.

The entire parish was saddened to hear the news of the death of former great Drumgoon player and referee, Mr. Peter Mc Nally, Drumroohill. Peter was one of six brothers to play for Drumgoon and also played for Cavan in the sixties. When Drumgoon GAA club opened Boyle Park in 1982, Peter was the man in the middle, refereeing the game between Cavan and Monaghan. Peter was a popular farmer, and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, sons Enda, John-Anthony, daughters Claire, Joanne, Grace, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers John and Seamus. Also sadly missed by his brothers Frank, Hughie, Eamon, sisters Margaret and Anna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
