Patsy Boyle r.i.p.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and friends of our club President Patsy Boyle who has passed on to his eternal rest. Patsy was a lifelong member of our club, from his playing days, roles on committees, cheering from the sidelines and sponsoring numerous teams over the years. His generosity and support never went unnoticed. In 2001 when we won the All Ireland Junior Football title, Patsy was our very generous club sponsor. Patsy won 3 championship medals with Carrick on Shannon and several tournament medals with Drumgoon. In the early eighties during the development and opening of Boyle Park, Patsy was the club chairman, and one of the main driving forces in the development. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Margaret, sons Patrick and Sean, daughters Susan, Paula, Lorraine, Ita, Grainne and extended family and friends over this difficult time.
