Underage teams perform very well

Under 13 boys win Bailieborough Tournament
Congratulations to our U13 boys who played in the Glenn Crossan/ Paddy Bird/ Finbarr Clarke memorial tournament in Bailieborough Shamrocks GAA on Saturday last. The boys played teams from Bailieborough, Lavey, Shercock, Blackwater Gaels and they defeated Killinkere in the Final. Many thanks to Bailieborough Shamrocks GAA for hosting and inviting us to take part in their tournament. To our mentors for all their coaching of our teams and the players on a great win.

Busy weekend, Sept 14th
On Sunday evening last the under 14 girls had a very good win over Cavan Gaels in Terry Coyle Park. The final score was Drumgoon 5-15 Cavan Gaels 5-08. The winning team was Alice Ward, Emma Clerkin, Lilly Clarke, Teagen Crosson, Lily Kate Clerkin, Emelia Winczynska , Marianne Mc Dermott, Kayla Johnston,  Teagan-Rhea Clerkin, Aoibhinn Fox, Katie Mc Cabe, Aisling Holden, Cliona Mc Cabe, Tegan McDermott Amy Kelly, Sophia Bannon, Isla Mc Donald. On Saturday morning the under 12 girls were unlucky to loose their group final to Ballinagh. The Drumgoon team was Mia Boyle, Emily Cunningham, Freya Fox, Heide May Markey, Kayleigh O’Brien, Caoimhe Smith, Isla Mc Donald, Sarah Hughes, Lily Mae Hughes, Cliona Mc Cabe, Amy Mc Entee, Tegan Mc Dermott, Kayla Mc Cann, Elaina Morris, Emily Rose Bannon, Jenna Mc Quillan.
