Drumgoon deservedly edged out Shercock in O’ Hagan Park, by the narrowest of margins. Playing with a stiff breeze Drumgoon led at half time on a scoreline of 1-6 to 0-4, Aogan Og Farrells goal being the decisive score. In the second half Shercock staged a strong rally, but a well marshalled defence held out.
