Kildallan 1 – 10 Drumgoon 0 – 15
Drumgoon seniors travelled to Ballyconnell on Sunday afternoon, and came away with both points, following a very entertaining game. The pitch was in very good condition and is a great credit to the local club. Kildallan started the game the brighter and when cornet forward Ryan O’ Neill shot to the net, it seen them go into the lead on a scoreline of 1 – 01 to 2 points. The Drumgoon half back line then got on top and Kildallan found the scores hard to come by. At half time they still led by 1-4 to 5 points. In the second half strong running by Barry Cooney, Conor Moynagh and Keith Fannin, resulted in many free scoring opportunities for Drumgoon. With Keith Fannin in great form he took some fantastic scores and Conall Farrell also landed a number of good frees. Kildallan battled hard to the end, but Drumgoon done enough for a well deserved two point victory
