Intermediate Championship 1st round, 31.07.2020

On Friday evening last in Kingscourt, Drumgoon and Killinkere played out a very entertaining  round of the first round of the Intermediate Championship, on a scoreline of Drumgoon 2-12 Killinkere 2-12. Drumgoon deservedly led the game from that start to the end of normal time, and it was only by virtue of a few soft frees in the closing stages that Killinkere drew level. Drumgoon’s veteran full forward, Keith Fannin put in a virtuoso performance, first out to every ball, and scoring 9 points in the process.
