A fisted goal by Philip Rogers, seven minutes from time, was the springboard need to calim a place in the Under 20 final. The game was delicately balanced with Eire Og Celtic desparately seeking to erase Knockbrides 10 to 9 lead when the goal came. Minutes earlier  Shane Sextons shot on goal was blocked and Kaylan Jackson picked up a second yellow card. At half time Eire Og had lead by 8 points to 4, playing with the breeze. Hoever Knockbride came right back into in with the breeze on their backs. For all thier honest effort, eire go celtic left it to the final seconds to engineer thr best move of the match. Diarmaid Carney and Tiarnan Reilly combined to put Conal Farrell through on goals only for the advancing Conor Smith, make an excellent block.
