Drumgoon senior men put in a virtuoso performance on Friday evening on Boyle Park. They have had a very good League campaign and now finish top of the Division 3 table on 20 points, after 12 games. They now play Drung in the semi-final. Drumgoon started this game in a determined fashion and soon ran into the lead through their county star Conor Moynagh. The Lynch brothers were in scintillating form and Patrick helped himself to 2-04. At half time Drumgoon led by 3-16 to no score aided by the wind. In an evening for brothers to shine the Moynagh brothers drove Drumgoon forward with great skill and stength as did the 3 Smith brothers. Things didn’t get much better for the away side in the second half and Drumgoon won pulling up and emptying their bench.
