Drum goon ladies qualified for the final, of the junior championship, by virtue of a good win over killeshandra, on Sunday last, on Boyle park. Showing great determination and commitment, the girls led from start to finish, and thoroughly deserved their win. drumgoon were first on the scoreboard through Denise Smith. Three points in a row, from the brilliant Orla Smith, seen Drumgoon go into the half time break, on a score line of 4 points to 0. Drumgoon started the second half brightly when the dashing wing forward, Jordan Crowe, shot to the back of the net, following a great run. With Aisling Mc Dermott and Siobhan Mc Gorry, dominating in defence, the drumgoon forwards piled on the scores and ran out easy winners.
