Seniors win
The senior men travelled to Redhills on Sunday afternoon, and deservedly collected both points. In the proverbial game of two halves, wind assisted Drumgoon dominated the first half while Redhills made a strong recovery in the second. Points from Conal Farrell and Patrick Mc Quaid seen Drumgoon go into the lead before Redhills drew back level, with well taken points by Richard Murphy and Paul Martin. A well taken goal by Liam Smith seen Drumgoon hit a purple patch that resulted in a half time lead of 1-07 to 0-05. Redhills fought back bravely in the second half, but the Drumgoon defence held out for a deserved win.
