17/9/22 Intermediate Championship Playoffs

Played on a lovely sunny evening in Ballyhaise before a large attendance, Drumgoon tore into this game right from the start and deservedly led for most of the way. Belturbet did make it hard for themselves having a man sent off on a straight red following a foul on Keith Fannin. Drumgoon were the hungrier team throughout and were first to the ball on all occasions. The goal came in the first half from an inform corner forward Shane Smith. At half time Drumgoon led by 1-4 to 0-5. In the second half driven on by the Moynagh brothers in particular,  Drumgoon piled on the scores.
