Drumgoon got their first game of the season off to a good start in Mullagh on Sunday afternoon. There were great displays from midfielders Henry Reburn & Pauric Mc Gorry, who got good support from wing backs, Barry Cooney and Enda Shalvey. An in form Keith Fannin helped himself to 6 points and he also set up corner forward Francis Mahon for a well taken goal. Others to get on the scoreboard were fit again, Aogan Farrell with 2 points, and a point each from Connor Bates and Shane Mc Gorry. As team manager, Eamon Dunne is recovering from an injury at the moment, the boys were managed by Damian Clarke and Jimmy Reilly. The score was Drumgoon 1-10 Cuchulainns 2-6.
